The current version of QBrew can be found at qbrew.tar.gz. QBrew's homepage is at Arandir's Free Source.
QBrew requires the Qt 2.0 $(prefix)/doc/qbrew/library. If this is not already installed, it can be obtained at Troll Tech.
Make sure that the prerequisite Qt 2.0 library is installed.
Unzip and untar the QBrew package into its own directory. Change into this directory, and read the INSTALL, README and LICENSE files.
Type .configure
to configure the package for your system.
Type make
to compile the package.
If you are not logged in as root, type su
and enter the root password
to switch over to the root account. This is not necessary if you
configured the package to install to your home directory.
Type make install
to install the program and documentation.
Run QBrew from the command line by typing qbrew
.
Since QBrew uses autoconf
you should have not trouble
compiling it. Should you run into problems please report them to the the author at
